Jon is a civil trial lawyer, focusing his practice on civil litigation, insurance claims and related lawsuits, and representing individuals and insurance companies throughout Ohio.

Jon started his legal career representing the State of Ohio, serving as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Hamilton County following his graduation from law school.  Jon quickly moved through the ranks at the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, rising from the children's services division, to the municipal division, to the juvenile division, and then into the felony division. Jon gained significant trial experience during his tenure at the Prosecutor’s Office, trying at least 12 jury trials and approximately 70 bench trials. Jon’s success at the Prosecutor’s Office earned him a promotion to the civil division, where he represented the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners, the Hamilton County Sheriff, the Hamilton County Auditor and other elected officials and county employees, in litigation pending in both state and federal court.

Jon brought his extensive courtroom experience to WGM in January 2025, transitioning from the public sector into the private practice of law.  His practice is now focused on civil litigation, personal injury litigation, insurance defense, business and commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution.  With a personal focus on providing clients with smart, practical, and cost-effective legal representation, Jon has embraced WGM’s dedication to providing innovative solutions to complicated problems.

Jon is a Cincinnati native, having attended Summit Country Day School, before obtaining an undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton.  He attended law school at Capital University and has been licensed to practice to law since 2017.
